Hydro-Jetting/Retro-Jetting
Hydro-jetting is usually the first approach to clearing blocked lines in pipe systems that uses high speed /high pressure water. Maintenance of this sort will go a long way toward minimizing eventual blockages that could result in a line breakage requiring more drastic and expensive remediation. CESCO’s hydro-jetting equipments have the maximum operating pressure of 1200 bar with a flow rate of 167 liters per minute. The hydro-jetting equipment is a skid mounted stationary design with built-in diesel fuel tank and water tank in enclosed canopy. Spinning nozzles or high pressure water jetting guns are used as a median, depending on the system or the surrounding area.

Retro - Jetting
CESCO has a RotoCar system, which is a safer practice of retro-jetting process. This cleaning method has been developed to remove difficult incrustations from the inside of pipes (50mm to 1,000mm bore) in a very fast and highly efficient manner even standing too near to the work area. The operation of this machine is simple and efficient; a high pressure hose rotates, driven by an air motor (flame proof). At the end of the hose, a nozzle jets around the high pressure water. The Feed unit will, feed or pull the hose automatically in or out of the pipe. The rotating movement is synchronized with the forward movement of the nozzle. This gives a seamless cleaning of the whole surface even from total stoppages. An adjustable clamping device is mounted on the front of the pipe for insertion of the hose in the middle of the pipe. A 3” stainless steel flexible tube is mounted between the clamping device and the Feed unit to prevent damage to the rotating hose. The Roto-Car is supplied with a slip coupling to prevent the hose from rotating without water pressure or when the hose is stuck. This method of retro-jetting allows an output of about 3 times higher than conventional high pressure technologies.
